Igalas worldwide have been urged to sacrificially love one another as a worthy basis for the development of Igala land. Mr John Abuh Oyidih made the call recently while handing over the reins of leadership to the Engr Abdul Audu-led Exco of Ufedo Foundation, which was elected at the Foundation’s annual convention in December 2012. The immediate past president harped on the need for a shared understanding of love and sacrifice amongst Igalas with a view to avoiding strife, unhealthy rivalry and self-seeking distractions that clog the wheel of developmental engagements in Igala land.
The new National President, in his maiden speech, thanked members of the Foundation for the confidence reposed in him and his fellow EXCO members and pledged to build upon the achievements of his predecessor as well as entrench a culture of integrity and unflinching commitment to the development of Igala land. Engr. Audu was sworn-in alongside the following officers for a renewable tenure of two years:
Engr Abdul Audu – National President
Simon J. Abuh – Vice President
Tony Obaka – Vice President
Abdul Ahiaba – Vice President
