Ufedo Club Fetes the Less Privileged at Easter

In line with its avowed commitment to the upliftment of the living standards in Igala land as well as the socio-economic revival of Igala people through the execution of selfless community development programmes and projects, The Ufedo Club of Nigeria donated basic necessities to C.M.M.L. Special School at Iyale, U.E.C. Hospital Ika, Ministry of Mercy Orphanage Home, Otutulu and the Tuberculosis and Leprosy Wards of Holley Memorial Hospital.

Speaking at the chain of events, the national President of the club, Mr. John Abuh Oyidih stated that the disbursement of these necessities which include drugs, food items and toiletories remains part of the club’s resolve to extend hands of love and care to the less privileged in igala land.

He also called on all well-meaning Igala individuals and government at various levels to extend their support to these homes.Responding, the Administrator of the Holley Memorial Hospital, Rev Akor Abraham, the Principal of CMML Special School Iyale, Dr. David Matthew and the Proprietor of the Ministry of Mercy Orphanage Home, Mr. Daniel Aduojo Ede all commended Ufedo Club of Nigeria for coming to their aid at the most auspicious of times when the society seems to have forgotten them.Ufedo Club members present at these ceremonies are: Mr. John Oyidih, National President, Mr Tony Obaka, Vice President, Mr. Abdul Ahiaba, Vice President, Mr. Andrew Ebiloma, National Secretary, Mr. Atayi Babs Opaluwah, National PRO, Mall.
